About Us

Founded in 1995 by the current senior Psychologist, Liam Healy and Associates are a firm of BPS Registered Chartered Occupational Psychologists specialising in Employee Selection and Development.

We develop and publish Psychometric Tests and were one of the first firms in the UK to pioneer On-Line Psychometric Assessment. Although we are based in the UK, we have clients as far afield as South Africa, North and South America, the Middle East and Australia. As well as providing specialist consultancy services to industry we have pioneered the use of the internet to provide high quality Career Development Services at a fraction of the normal corporate cost.

Liam Healy and Associates also have a well established consultancy division which provides high quality specialist advice to organisations on matters to do with selection and development. We take pride in the fact that we are British Psychological Society registered Chartered Occupational Psychologists, fully trained and qualified to a professional standard. We understand how human beings function from a social, emotional, cognitive and behavioural point of view, and can apply a wide range of research based know-how to solving problems in the workplace.

We take a scientific approach to the concept of the individual in the workplace. This involves viewing the work environment as a complex structural and cultural system where the individual and the social environment interact. This differentiates us from many other consultants who may have no similar professional training and may simply apply a single solution repeatedly with different clients. We offer no 'quick fixes' or standard solutions - just as every client need is different then so are the interventions we design and deliver to address them.

Our starting point with clients always involves looking to see how we can design systems or interventions that are easy to understand and use. Consequently, many of the systems and tools we design are entirely software based, and designed to be administered over the internet.
