On Line Competency Based Assessment Demonstration
Step 1 - Choosing Competencies and Entering Details
On Line Competency Based Assessment begins with the client selecting those Competencies they require assessing in the candidates. Note that in this demonstration the information fields have been completed for you, any changes you make will not be saved.We generally send the client the entire competency model including all behavioural indicators as a PDF file. This enables them to spend some time selecting those they require. Often, more than one person is involved in this process - perhaps a management or HR team may all be asked for their input. In any event it allows the client time to make a reasoned choice.
We recommend that the client only focus on those competencies which are absolutely essential for the job in question, and for practical reasons ask them not to choose more than ten.
Choosing more than ten competencies tends to overload not only candidates, but also assessors. In practice very few jobs would require more than ten competencies.
