3. Why we collect your information and what your information is used for
Candidates
3.1. If you are a Candidate we will collect your information, as a data processor, solely for the purpose of facilitating on line psychometric assessment on behalf of our Clients. Our Client is the data controller of your information and is responsible for the collection, use and storage of your information under the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3.2. We will only retain your personal information (such as your name) to inform the Client that you have completed your assessment and to present the results to the Client. We will retain this information and make it available to the Client for 21 days, after which it will be deleted.
3.3. Your information (including the results of any assessment you undertake on this website) will only be accessible by the relevant Client.
3.4. Your information will be used to process the results of the on-line psychometric assessment for the purpose of allowing the Client to identify which candidate completed the assessment. For the avoidance of doubt, we will not be responsible in any way for any use by our Client of your personal data and we refer you to paragraph 3.7 below.
3.5. We will not share your information with any other organisation unless we are instructed to do so by our Client in accordance with its own privacy policy, which you should read and agree to before using this website.
3.6. We may use aggregated data about users of our site and other statistical data, relating in particular to the on-line psychometric assessment facility, to improve our site and/or our psychometric assessment products and services, but it will not be possible to identify individuals from that aggregated data.
3.7. YOU MUST ENSURE THAT YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE PRIVACY POLICY OF THE CLIENT AND YOU MUST ASK THAT CLIENT IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW IT IS GOING TO USE THE RESULTS OF THE ON-LINE PSYCHOMETRIC ASSESSMENT YOU UNDERTAKE VIA THIS WEBSITE.
Clients
3.8. If you have accessed this website as a Client, we will collect your information for the purpose of verifying your identity in order to provide you with access to the website, and thus enable you to access the results of any on-line psychometric assessments undertaken by your Candidates.
4. How we collect information from you
Cookies
4.1. A cookie is a small text file which is transferred from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive. It enables a website to “remember” who you are. We use cookies (which are temporary cookies) on our website to verify your identity when you log in, to keep track of where you are on our website and to personalise our service to you.

Through traffic data and site statistics
4.3. We keep a record of traffic data which is logged automatically by our server, such as your IP address. We also collect some site statistics such as page hits and page views.
Candidates
4.5. We also collect information about you on behalf of our Clients if you complete any of the various fields on our website to enable our Clients to identify which candidate completed the on-line psychometric assessment.
Clients
4.6. We also collect information about you:
4.7.1. if you complete any of the various fields on our website to provide you with access to the website;
4.7.2. by telephone, fax or any other LHA website where you have requested or enquired about any products or services offered by LHA (including on-line psychometric assessment);
4.7.3. which you supply to us after your initial contact with us.
5. Security and storage of information
5.1. We will keep your information secure by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures against its unauthorised or unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage.
5.2. We will store your information:
5.2.1. if you are a Candidate, until such time as we send to the Client the results of your on line psychometric assessment and, in any event, for no longer than 21 days from the date you completed the assessment.
5.2.2. if you are a Client, at least until we have finished providing any products or services to you.
6. Transfers outside Europe
6.1 We do not transfer any information submitted by you through the site outside the EU..
